Purchase: Pozzi Trophy saddle from Double J Saddlery. Price $2,300.
Likes: Looks beautiful. From day one, it felt "broke-in" and was comfortable. It holds the rider in the saddle well due to the deep seat.
Dislikes: Due to the deep seat, it takes up room that normally you would have so you need to order one size larger... Example if you normally ride in a 14" - you need a 15". Also the tree width is way too wide!!! I have 9 horses on my place...all shapes and sizes of quarter horses and this saddle doesn't fit any of them. Two of my friends also have Pozzi saddles and they don't fit any of their horses either - therefore these beautiful saddles sit in the tack room(s) unused. Pricey saddles!
Quality: Great quality. Good Construction - no quality issues whatsoever.
Summary: Beautiful saddles, secure feel for the rider. Tree too wide and doesn't fit many horses. If you own a draft horse, this just may be the saddle for you.
