Purchase: Purchased this saddle from a tack store in Tennessee when we were trail riding up in Jamestown. Purchased it for $945 and for the money it was a quality...well made saddle.
Likes: Light weight, very classy looking western saddle; Suspended tree was odd feature but after riding in it I finally got use to the feeling. The detail in the leather making was superb. Eli Miller is a quality saddle maker.
Dislikes: Wish the gullet was wider! The gullet on this particular trail saddle is a normal gullet but does not fit wide horses. Also it is a LONG saddle...if you have a short back horse this saddle will not fit it!
Quality: Quality of leather, construction was EXCELLENT and well made.
Summary: Nice riding saddle for the money. Be careful when buying a saddle that the gullet fits a wider or thicker horse and that your horse is not short back like my little mare. I sold the saddle though for $700 and felt I got my money's worth after riding in it for 2 years worth .
