Purchase: I got this pad because I ride a wide mare and have trouble with saddle roll. I got the saddle from Smith Brothers catalog and paid $79 for it. (I did find it cheaper afterwards in Jeffers catalog).
Likes: I LOVE the pad. It totally eliminated the problem I was having with my saddle slipping and it was very comfortable for my horse.
Dislikes: The only thing I can say to be careful for is there is two sizes in these pads. 32X32 and 30X30. MAKE SURE you get the 30X30. When I first ordered I got the larger pad and had to send it back. It was just too BIG!! I didn't like it at all. The 30X30 was perfect.
Quality: This pad is SUPER quality!! Its actually
costs much less than most high quality felt pads, but I like it 10X better than my felt pads.
Summary: I ABSOLUTLY recommend these pads. Even if you don't have trouble with saddle roll. They make your horse feel great and they look nice. I won't buy another felt pad. I have one of these for every one of my horses and I recommend them to anyone.
