Purchase: My cousin bought this saddle years back when he was roping a lot. He gave it to me about 3 years ago when I started working a horse for him. He said it wasn't anything special that he had bought it for about 400$ off a friend of his.
Likes: It is a tough saddle. Its been rolled on, ridden in extreme weather, and fits most horses. I have ridden draft cross horses and quarter horses and have only a few horses this saddle didn't sit well. Its held of very nicely and I am very rough on a saddle.
Dislikes: The only thing I don't like about this saddle is that I haven't been able to find another one like it. The stamp on the saddle just says JUMBO. No other markings or stamps, and I have looked and haven't been able to find any information on that maker.
Quality: Its made of good quality leather, a strong tree, and good craftsmanship. It has a 15 1/2 padded seat, well it use to be padded! I don't know anything about the tree accept that it is full quarter horse bars, and very durable. The cantle is 3'' with Cheyenne role, and the swell is 12'', the horn is 3 and 3/4'' X 2 1/2'', the rigging is 7/8 double stainless steel.
Summary: I have been real pleased with this saddle. I have used it for ranch work, roping, breaking colts, and leading trail rides into the mountains of Wyoming. It was used hard before I ever received it and I know I have used it harder. I don't know where to send you to find one but I know if you ever do see one for sale it is a good saddle that will serve you well.
