Purchase: These pads came along with the Fillis irons I bought. I think they usually retail for around $6 Cdn.
Likes: They're white which looks elegant to me. Since the rubber is fairly soft, they're easy to fit into the irons.
Dislikes: Because the rubber is so soft and springy, they have a tendency to pop out of the irons if you shift your foot around or bang the iron against something.
The white rubber also gets yellow-ish pretty quickly.
I find that these pads don't offer enough grip for what I need. I think I'll end up getting something with more traction (ie: sandpaper grip, etc).
Quality: Good quality rubber, well-shaped grippers for someone needing average grip in the irons.
Summary: A good pad to start out with for your Fillis irons.
