Purchase: I bought this saddle new on Ebay from Frontier Equestrian for $250.00. They were great to deal with and I recommend their company for quality products and good service.

Likes: This is a very nice looking saddle. It was advertised as being for small, wide horses like Haflingers and the flaps are definitely cut smaller which I appreciate. A lot of saddles appear huge on my tiny Arab, even when the seat size is small. The tree is extra wide and is the first saddle I have bought that was advertised as wide that truly is wide enough to fit my horse. I love the billets - they are made of a soft, yet durable leather so it is extremely easy to cinch up even in cold weather. They also have holes along the entire billet so I can use a short dressage girth or a longer english girth, which my horse seems to prefer. The knee blocks and deep seat put me in a correct position without me even trying.

Dislikes: The only thing I didn't like at first was the wide twist to the saddle. However, it was only a small complaint for me. I was extremely happy to have a good quality saddle for such a great price that would finally fit my horse. I am used to the feeling now and it is overall very comfortable to ride in.

Quality: The leather is good quality and was broken in after only 5 rides. I have had it for a year and it still looks brand new. There are not even any shiny marks on the leather from the stirrup leathers rubbing.

Summary: I have used this saddle on a 14.2 hand Arab and a 17 hand Warmblood. Both of them seemed to appreciate the flexible, well-padded panels and moved out well. It is so comfortable I take it on trail rides. The seat is so secure I have schooled flying lead changes and ridden out some pretty good bucks without falling off.
