Purchase: I purchased these Mountain Horse Sportive High Rider II boots on Ebay for 189$, new.
Likes: These boots have very nice quality leather that is soft and durable. I was pleasantly surprised at the leather quality for this price. I think these boots were soooo
COMFORTABLE from ride one! No break in time! Nice sizing options in this brand. I need a wide calf and this brand has the best fit I have found. Definitely sharp looking enough to show in. Price is GREAT!
Dislikes: I wish they made this model a little bit taller or a little more height to the spanish tops for a dressage tall dress boot look. The foot of this boot is more refined than the first High Rider boot but is still a little bit clunky.
I wish they could make this boot a little more refined and a little taller (like their Mountain Horse High Caliber Field Boots, they are perfect!).
Quality: Very, very nice construction quality overall. The Mountain Horse zippers are MUCH more durable than other zip boots. Very nice leather lining. Long elastic gussets are well constructed and function well to make a very fitted look.
Summary: Great looking and great price and the most comfortable boot I have ever worn!!
