Purchase: I received these as a birthday gift from my mother. She had gotten these from eBay. I told my mom to get them for me because I knew that I would be riding English pretty soon. She paid about $40.00 from the seller's eBay Store.
Likes: I like how stretchy they are. They conform to the leg extremely well. I also like that they come in many different colors. Mine are purple and black. They are a big hit at the barn where I ride. I also like that if they get dirty, you can brush them off with a dry towel or you can put them in the washer and dryer. They will not shrink, which is another plus. They are very breathable, so you can wear them for long periods of time and not get tired of them or sweat really bad, even in the summer time.
Dislikes: The only thing that I do not like about these is that if you get them dirty and put them into the washer and dryer, they get all fuzzy. It does not effect the performance or how comfortable they are, just how they look.
Quality: The quality is extremely well and the construction is just as good or better than an expensive pair like Ariat.
Summary: Bottom line, if you are looking for well made, comfortable, and easy clean half chaps, these are the ones for you. Don't be like everyone else at the barn and get a colored pair.
