Quality: Very nice saddle for the rider, not very nice for the horse.
My saddle, bought brand new at Dutch distributor Tweespan, had severe fabrication-defaults!
The front-tip of the tree is supposed to be flexible; mine was hardened with square polyester. The front-strap for the girth was attached to this tree, so that de hard square polyester would dig into my horses muscles while fastening the girth.
Other than that - the front strap will pull the saddle forward onto the horse's whithers, where it is supposed to strap the tree in the centre of the tree onto the horses back.
Several straps were attached underneath the middle of tree right where the rider sits; exactly there where a tree should be smooth and flat, my Fryso was 'bulky'.
The metal stirrup-attachments were pointed straight into my horses back, and were smaller than the tree.
The stuffing under the tree was sown crooked underneath the tree.
For my behind the saddle was alright from the get-go. With help from a very good harness maker, it was completely rebuild and finally suitable for the horse.
Summary: Not all Fryso's are made this poorly, but buyer, be warned!. Where there is one, many others were produces in the exact same way...
