Manufacturer: Hilason (View all products by Hilason Saddlery)
Model: Treeless Western Barrel Racing Saddle (View all Treeless Western Barrel Racing Saddle reviews)
Category: Barrel Saddles
Purchase: Bought on ebay and paid $444
Likes: It looked like a nice saddle, flashy leather and fit my horse really well since it was treeless.
Dislikes: The pommel was so wide it pressed into my legs on each side. I have never sat in a saddle that had this problem. I am a petite woman and found the saddle to be ok otherwise.
Quality: I think the leather is not the best quality and Hilason is a company that is mainly known for making leather goods, not saddles. The saddle parts were not construction in a sturdy fashion. It looked like it would not last very long.
Summary: All in all, it cost me $55 in shipping to get it, $26 to return it, and a $39 restocking fee just to try out a saddle that didn't work out. I won't buy another one of these.
