Purchase: I purchased this saddle from Kim at Engage Saddles in NJ, it was built on the "hoop" or extra open tree. I was able to choose flap length, leather type, piping color, and serge or leather panels the tree was custom fit for my horse.
I paid $2200 for the saddle it is very comfortable, much softer than my previous German made saddle. I love the leather quality, that is very important to me and from trying various models I feel Black Country gave me the best options and quality especially for the money this saddle is the same quality as my older $4,000 saddle!!

They offer exceptional quality and Kim was very helpful in fitting my horse she came directly to the farm herself. She also is working with a friend of mine in Colorado long distance. This saddle is very comfortable, the seat is medium depth but they also offer a shallower seat in this model. I am happy with the fit for my very round backed horse, this is the ONLY jumping saddle I have found to work for this horse.
Dislikes: Nothing
Quality: To me the quality is similar or the same as County and Hennig.
Summary: Wonderful saddle I would give Black Country my business again.
