Purchase: I purchased this unit through Tractor Supply as a stand-alone hay storage unit. Cost was approx. $2600.00. The Shelter Logic people never replied to several emails that I sent through their web site, but since Tractor Supply is one of their retail outlets, they ordered it for me.
Likes: Not much.
Dislikes: This thing is a piece of Chinese Crap. Bolt holes don't line up properly, the bolts themselves are both too long and too small in diameter to be correct, and the instructions may as well have still been in Chinese -- they would have been just as easy to understand. The instructions I received with the unit didn't even match the unit.
The way this thing goes together (or doesn't go together) it just doesn't work. The slightest breeze makes it sound like a spinnaker on an America's Cup boat, and about as easy to handle. The cheesy fabric cover doesn't even reach the ground, and the whole thing leaks like a seive. A good way to ruin a whole bunch of very expensive hay.
Quality: Parts of the frame are actually pretty well engineered, but then they used some much lighter weight tubing on some of the other components, rendering the whole thing pretty weak.
The fabric cover is about as durable as one of those cheap blue tarps you can get at any feed store. They actually sewed one of the "door" zippers shut so that it can't be opened.
Summary: Save your money (and your sanity in putting it together). If you need a storage unit, go buy some lumber and some siding. It'll cost you about the same in the long run, and will be a whole lot better looking, more durable, and it will save you a ton of aggravation.
