Purchase: I bought this saddle as part of a package on ebay for $1100. It was time to replace that old wintec that just refused to fit my horse!
Likes: This saddle is QUALITY. Beautiful leather that isn't slippery nor too tacky, super soft, strong stitching, puts me in a great position, comfy to ride in, and is very comfy and forgiving to my hard to fit horse.
Dislikes: The flap is a regular length and forwardness, which unfortunately is too straight for the longer legged jumper like me. I am 5'11" and definitely need a forward flap in this saddle. But that is hardly Crosby's fault!
Quality: Beautiful, quality all around. Just overall a superb saddle.
Summary: I love the construction, leather, feel and comfort of this saddle so very much that I am going to sell the one I have and buy a brand new one with the forward flap, and you know I like something a LOT if I am willing to pay full price for it!!!
