Looking for moderately priced boot for hunter shows and a nice fit for wide calf.
Likes: Very very nice looking boot. Very trim and tailored fit even for the wide calf size. Long elastic gussets beside zipper work very nicely to give a trim fit. Gussets also allow for those little changes in calf size related to breeches and sock thickness or water retention and weight change!! No worrying about if you can get your boots on on show day!!
Leather quality much nicer than other mid-priced boots I have tried. Great height to the spanish top, makes for a long leg look in the saddle.
Dislikes: There is nothing at all that I dislike about this boot!!
Quality: Most comfortable footbed. Leather quality much nicer than other mid-priced boots. Zippers are much nicer and more heavy duty than other zippered boots.
The elastic gussets are longer down the side of the boot than any other elastic gussets I have seen, and therefore provide a nicer fit. Gussets are not unattractive or that noticeable when riding. I show in these boots and they look very nice.
Summary: Love 'em!!! My favorite boots!! Lots of size options and they are made in mens and womens sizes.
Well worth the price. If you are looking for a boot without the expense of custom, I think this boot is the nicest one out there.
