Purchase: I first used this fly spray at work where we rode through 4 swampy areas 5-9 times a days. Many tack stores and catalogs carry it and it is normally around $16 a Quart.
Likes: Oil base is nice as it doesn't break down as fast. It builds up on the hair but not in the skin so a little goes a long way. It is best to wipe it on so one quart bottle can last a long time. It works great on ticks and deer flies which are very bad in swampy areas.
Dislikes: The oil base can attract dust so it isn't the best for showing.
Quality: I haven't had any issues with it but some horses will sun burn from an oil base.
Summary: For the price it can't be beat. Ends up being cheaper then many 'cheaper' sprays. It works great, lasts a long time and my horses stand in line when they see the bottle.
