Purchase: I bought this helmet to protect my head.
It was on sale for 31.96 at Tractor Supply.
I figured if 32.00 could possibly save me from a head injury, it must be a bargain.
Likes: I had never worn a riding helmet before this purchase. It truly is so comfortable that I forget that I am wearing it. It is warm, but yet light weight. It can be adjusted easily by turning a knob which locks. The helmet does not roll forward or back which is important for a quality fit.
The helmet has ventilation holes for hot weather riding. The inside liner is replaceable and washable.
Dislikes: It probably should have a bigger visor for sunny days. I will have to purchase one separately.
Quality: Troxel Helmets are SEI certified to ASTM F1163 specifications. Troxel will replace helmet if ever involved in an accident up to two years after purchase for a small fee plus shipping.
Summary: This purchase is a lot less expensive than long term medical care.
