Purchase: I bought this at my local saddlery shop for $795.00. I had seen it elsewhere for as high as $900, that's why I bought it there.
Likes: This is a perfectly balanced saddle. I don't have my own horse, I ride schooling horses and if has fit each of them as well. Mostly all TBs and a few QHs. It's a very forward saddle, perfect for someone like me who does a lot of jumping.
Dislikes: It took a while to break it in, it just wasn't absorbing any oil for some reason. One of the working srudents at the barn took it home with her, sorry that I can't remember the name of the oil she used on it, but whatever it was, it absorbed into the leather. Plus, being that this is a saddle for jumping, I wouldn't buy it as an all-purpose saddle.
Quality: I've had this saddle for 6 months and it seems well constructed. The leather is better now that the girl treated it for me. It's got a wooden tree with steel reinforcements and nice cushion knee pads.
Summary: I am very pleased that I found a nice saddle for a nice price.
