Purchase: I purchased a bottle of Straight Arrow's Detangler at Wal Mart for about $3. I figured since it was so cheap, it couldn't hurt to try it.
Likes: I've used this product right after I wash my horse's tail. I spray it liberally through his tail, then comb in. It works extremely well, and makes his tail extremely soft and silky. I've never used it when his tail is dry; but I'd expect that It'd work just as well. His tail stays manageable for a week or so -- without touching it at all. It does not make him itchy like some leave in's do.
Dislikes: There's really not much that I didn't like about Mane N Tail Detangler. I really didnt care for the smell, but you could only smell it when you're spraying it.
Quality: The quality and construction of the detangler is really good. It's a small white spray bottle with a pump top. It's got the yellow and blue Straight Arrow labels.
Summary: The bottom line on this product is that its very good.. well worth it, and you can't go wrong with the price! I'd defiantly use it if I could not get out to the barn every day to groom my horse.
