Purchase: I purchased this from Valley Vet Supply for $39.95 with free shipping. I also ordered the fleece cover set for $9.95.
Likes: Our mare does not crib with this collar on, but as soon as it is off she'll reach for the nearest thing to grab onto. We do not need to have it tight; I think just having it on, she knows she can't crib.
Dislikes: The collar does rub, so I highly recommend getting the fleece cover set right away rather than waiting until your horse is bald. Since the fleece set only covers the browband and jaw, we had to purchase an additional fleece set to cover the bridle path. In my opinion, the collar should COME with fleece covers so that you would not need to purchase separately.
Quality: Hard leather; very durable. Easy to get on/off.
Summary: The collar works very well for our horse. Again, highly recommend fleece covers to keep your "baby" comfortable.
