Purchase: I bought several suede hapf chaps but they didnt look too well so I've been saving up to get the ariats because the look so nice. I managed to get a good deal and bought them off ebay for only $60, they retail for $99 at catalogs(stateline and dover)
Likes: They look very nice and give you that classic tall boots look if worn with similar paddock boots. They are also relatively comfortable and easy to clean.
Dislikes: I actually thought they were smooth leather the whole way around, turns out they are suede on the inside calf, which dissapointed me a bit. Another negative thing, they get scrathed up pretty easily, so I always have to be very very careful when I ride, not the best thing, since my horse likes to brush next to the fences and jumps.
Quality: They are pretty well made.
Summary: Overall theyre pretty good, a bit costly I must admit.
