Manufacturer: Peter Horobin
Category: Dressage Saddles
Purchase: Supplied by workplace. Bought from maker:- Peter Horobin (Master Saddler).
Likes: EXTREMELY comfortable seat material which made my job in the saddle (up to 8 hours, & often just sitting there or walking) very bearable. A superbly made saddle. Quality all the way and looks beautiful. Provided a secure seat when working in extreme vigorous violent situations.
Dislikes: Only problem was: the saddle tended to throw my balance 'out' noticeably at rising trot. My lower leg would be trying to swing backwards and my upper body would be trying to tilt forward. I was continually fighting to maintain natural balance. At walk and canter it was OK. (I have ridden in other dressage saddles that didn't give me this problem - so it WAS the saddle and not me)
Quality: Stunning high quality leather saddle.
Summary: Great looking very comfortable saddle which didn't quite suit me dressage wise - but had benefits for the type of profession I rode in.
Usefulness Rating: 2.91667 out of 5.
