Purchase: I bought these in November 2006 from Dover Saddlery for $17.90. I needed some leather show gloves for the upcoming spring and summer season.
Likes: These are the most comfortable gloves I have ever worn. The leather is very soft and supple and is color fast so there is no bleeding onto your hands. Also between the fingers is Spandex so you have complete freedom of movement. They fit wonderfully to my hands and are secure without being restrictive. The gathered wrist is easy enough to get your hand through but it doesn't slip around once on. My hands can be hard to fit being that they are so small, especially in the wrist. But these just feel for fitted. They also breath very well.
Dislikes: There is nothing I dislike.
Quality: The quality is what you would expect from SSG--Amazing. Everything is like triple stitched and reinforced in key areas. The leather is strong but soft and you can tell the spandex won't stretch out.
Summary: I love these gloves. They are truly the most comfortable gloves I have ever worn. The fit is amazing and the leather is so soft there is no break in. I enjoy wearing these for schooling, not just showing. The price is amazing for the quality and once again I say the fit is amazing. I would recommend these to anyone!
