Purchase: I got my wintec 2000 saddle from The Paddock Inc. and I paid $630.
Likes: I love that this saddle has the interchangeable gullet system so I can fit it perfectly to my horse. I also like that it did not cost a large amount of money but I got a great product. Another thing that I like about the saddle is that it is easy to clean, you just rinse it off with the hose. No more spending hours cleaning the saddle and more time riding in it. It also has the roughed out set to keep you in place if you have bad balance or if your horse is like mine and has bucking attacks and trows you everywhere.
Dislikes: I don't like that the billets are stiff so it is hard to tighten the girth. Also the changeable gullet system is not easy to do you need to be strong in order to change it. The first time I change my gullet it took 30min. with the help of my father, who is very strong.
Quality: I think that the saddle is of good quality and will last about 10 years
Summary: The wintec 2000 saddle is a great saddle if you don't want to spend lots of money on a leather saddle that takes hours of oiling. It is also great for kids who need a lite saddle that they can carry and if they drop it, its not that big of a deal. Also it is great if you have a growing and changing horse so that you always have the perfect fitting saddle.
