Purchase: I bought this saddle used but in like new condition off ebay. I paid about $3000 CDN by the time all the shipping, handling and duty fees were finished. I bought this saddle after about 3 months of trials and research. I bought it from France where it is marketed as the "partition", in the US and Canada this same model is called the "Pro Euro".
Likes: The saddle is incredibly comfy. I can ride in it all day without any problems. It is a top of the line saddle and the quality is very high. The Partition/Euro Pro is built for those of us who ride between the American and European styles of jumping. It is secure enough for the big fences and works wonderfully for flat work. Definitely helps to put you in a good position with out creating that forced feeling. More info can be found on the pj website.
Dislikes: So far, I like everything about this saddle.
Quality: Quality design and craftsmanship. Made in France with high quality leather. Calf skin seat/knee rolls, knee rolls are air cushioned for additional comfort. Beautiful to look at and is solidly built. Should last many years of hard riding. My coach has another Delgrange saddle and it is still in good condition after 7 years of riding 4+ horses daily.
Summary: I would definitely recommend this saddle to anyone who is looking for a quality, high end saddle. Price is definitely above average, but you definitely get what you pay for.
