Purchase: I bought this product at CVS for around $5.00. I figured I could try it on myself then try it on my horse; what could hurt it was only 5 bucks (us).
Likes: I found that with my hair the product made my thick hair very soft, shiney and manageble. When I tried it on my horse, it was even better. I really used a small amount of shampoo and scrubbed it with my hands and a rubber curry and loved the results. While my horse was drying in the barn, I brushed him a few times with a soft brush(oxo works terrific, especially when wet) and waited untill he was dry. His fur was extemely soft, sleek (but not slick) and very shiney. Without the use of showsheen or any other product, my big guy was show ready. THe next day at the show he sill looked great and got tons of compliments. The other bonus is with my dapple grey, it isn't so strong that the color fades, but it gets the job done.
Dislikes: Nothing. I recommend this product the the dollar wise shopper, or sm. bugeted shopper. With Mane N' Tail you can get the job done fast and right with out the expenses of fancy shampoo, conditioner, showsheen, and coat polish.
Quality: Very solid and tough bottle with your moneys worth of shampoo, 32 oz.
Summary: I recommend this product to anyone who wants easily attained, inexpensive, shiney, managable coat. Don't let the price fool you, my Irish Draught's show shampoo is Mane N' Tail, no showsheen needed.
