Purchase: I bought my Lamicell from a mobile tack store at a hunter/jumper show in Pine Mountain, Georgia.
I paid $135.00 for it.
I had been thinking about buying a new helmet and wanted one that was reasonably priced, comfortable, and safe, and just happened to find this one.
Likes: This is an incredibly comfortable helmet, very, very light weight. I love to put it on. I had been borrowing my daughter's too tight schooling helmet, and occasionally her GPA helmet, so the comfort is really appreciated. It feels safely snug, not binding at all, and doesn't give me too bad helmet hair!
I have the black helmet with silver strip, and it looks good on me, not dorky or top heavy.
It fits my daughter too and she now wants one in addition to her GPA
Dislikes: If anything, it would be that it has the "GPA look",and I don't want to look trendy, but I can live with that.
Quality: I have only had the helmet less than a year, but it looks brand new. It doesn't attract dust or dirt, the harness is comfortable and secure, and the lining looks and feels quality.
Summary: Comfort is of primary importance, second only to safety certification. I recommend this helmet to our riding instructors as a very good looking, quality helmet at a good price.
