Purchase: I found this item on apple saddlery and have always wanted a figure 8 bridle of some kind. I really liked the color and shape of this one so decided to order it. I got it directly from the apple saddlery website for 139.95 cnd.
Likes: I loved the thickness and padding of the reins and browband. I also loved how the color came out after oiling. It fit my horse beautifully and it also helped him keep his head down and mouth closed. I loved the price and how fast it was delivered.
Dislikes: I didn't like how long it took to finally get the leather supple. It was stiff at first and after 3 oil sessions still managed to crack while I tightened the straps. Other than that the bridle is fantastic.
Quality: The quality on this item is great. The leather is rich and strong. The bridle is also comfortable enough for my horse and looks great! It allows added pressure for better control.
Summary: This item looks great and is very affordable. Matches the HDR show jumper saddle perfectly and is really in style for the jumper ring for this and many years to come!
