Purchase: When I got my very first set of bell boots, I made the mistake of not getting a size larger than I should have. Luckily these Ballistic Overreach Boots came out, I saw them and I jumped at the opportunity. I bought them at a UFA farm and ranch supply store for $30. Best bell boot's I have ever made a purchase on, and the best that Professionals Choice has come up with yet.
Likes: Awesome velcro strap design. The way they made it, makes sure those boots are secure around your horse's foot. I have not lost one, not even in deep sticky mud. Another thing that I got drawn to is the little "nub" on the inside of the boot, that keeps the boot from turning. Really easy to clean, hose them off or hand wash like I do. Great materials, and stitching too. That tough nylon shell for the outside of the bell boot has been so beaten up, they still look like brand new.
Dislikes: I have nothing to not like about these boots. They are more than perfect!
Quality: Super stitching, nothing is loose with all of what they have been through. With the tough nylon, it's like armor, I swear these bell boots are indestructible. During barrel runs in the thick mud, you don't know how many people lost their bell boots. Nu-uh not me! With their double-locking straps I really have one heck of a time getting them off my horses! Another great feature is how there is a 'padded ring' around the top of the boot so it doesn't rub on the horse.
Summary: Holy moly, if you need bell boots you MUST get these! I use them for barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, roping, jumping, training, gymkhana, you name it. They come in a variety of colors (mine are black), and heck, I'd love to buy another pair because they are so reliable. Professional's Choice Ballistic Overreach boots. Almost all of my tack is Professional's Choice, they haven't let me down with their wonderful, long lasting products.
