Purchase: I bought this sheet at a local tack store, but it was ordered through a catalog. I paid approximately $95.00.
Likes: I probably shouldn't start out describing a horse sheet in this fashion, but I have to admit I was originally drawn to this particular turnout sheet because I loved the color. My horse is solid chestnut and I thought the brown/blue plaid would like great on him. Yep, he's a hottie. Oh, the sheet is pretty nice too.
Dislikes:
Quality: My horse needed a medium weight turnout sheet and I didn't want to spend a ton of money on it since he is hard on everything that comes near his stall. He is a QH but seems to be under the impression he should be a Labrador Retriever. Meaning, anything that comes near him, horse clothing, human clothing, ponytails (again human), even cigarettes! are supposed to go directly into his mouth. He has only been wearing this sheet about 2 months but so far it's held up pretty well. He is pretty well built for a QH, 16 hands, 76" long and rather well-rounded and this sheet fits very well.
Summary: Good quality for the money. There are more expensive sheets but if you're looking for a medium-priced turnout sheet, this is a good buy. My horse doesn't get super shaggy in the winter but with a trace clip, he was wearing this sheet outside in 15 degree temps.
