Purchase: State Line Tack sells these for $35.00, I'm not sure if they are the manufacturer or not though.
Likes: They are "color-coded" so are wonderful for beginners to learn correct hand position on the reins. In addition, they are helpful for the intermediate riders learning to soften their hands, using an opening rein, etc.
Dislikes: nothing
Quality: They are made of rubber, but I care for them just as much as I would leather. My tack room has a tendency to get dry and hot. I usually condition all of the tack once a week to prevent cracking and splitting. I do the same with these.
Summary: I know several instructors who use these, especially for children. They are very helpful and I think they children like them because they are so colorful.
