Purchase: I bought this pad on ebay. I loved how the brown color matched my bay's coat. I paid $67 for it. They retail for $135 at Libertyville.
Likes: I loved the thick, soft wool. It fit so nicly around the panels and pommel.
Dislikes: This pad could use a bit more wither clearance.
Quality: I have tried Mattes and Fleeceworks sheepskin half pads....this was much thicker and well put together. The quilting on top was also very thick. It hand-washed gorgeously with Woolite. I used this on top of a quilted pad, so it wasnt that dirty..
Summary: A truly excellent pad that hold up to the daily rigors of an eventer. Well worth the extra money, as long as your horse doesnt have extremely high withers.
