Purchase: I got a wintec 500, brown, at ebay. I paid 250 dollars.
Likes: I love it because it fits all kinds of horses. I could use it on a 12 hh pony or a Belgium draft. It is comfortable for the horse and rider. It looks like leather, too! I can use it for trail riding, jumping, dressage, whatever. The best part is, when it gets dirty, you just hose it off! I LOVE IT!!!
Dislikes: I really have no complaints. It does not have the d-rings on the back in the regular place as other saddles, so I'll just have to get a new saddle bag. But I love it.
Quality: Wintecs are awesome. It can withstand anything. I've gotten mine wet, and dropped it a few times, but it stays fine. I've even shoved it in my trunk, and it comes out fine.
Summary: I love it, every beginning or advanced rider should have one. They are relatively cheap, and would make a great gift. I know many people with Wintecs, and they all love them. They are the ideal low-maintenance saddle.
