Purchase: I purchased Tri-Tec 14 Fly Spray at State Line Tack [Petsmart] for about $15. This was one of the good fly spray's I have found.
Likes: It's a really well made bottle and flyspray. The spray its self works extremely well, with a added bonus of it having sunscreen in it. It's got a relatively pleasent scent -- okay, so my standards of fly spray scents are not high. But, it defiantly worked in keeping flys, gnats, and mosquitos off of my Paint, and kept his coat from bleaching out more then a regular spray. It probably worked for about three to four hours, it really depended on the amount of insects out that day.
Dislikes: I'm not a huge fan of the price of this item. Sure, it works pretty well, but I think $15 is a little much. The other thing is that it did not work for the week that it said it would. Last, Tri-Tec had to be applied liberally to make sure it would work correctly, otherwise it would not be effective. Therefor, the price added up.
Quality: It's a gray spray bottle and sprayer, with a gray label with the farnam label and writing. I've dropped it numerous times and it seems to have held up. I also like the fact that its gray because I can write on it with sharpee and it is visable.
Summary: Overall, this product is pretty effective. If you live in a place that does not have too much of a insect problem, then this is defiantly the spray for you if you want to put out the money.
