Purchase: I purchased a sheet and blanket from Dover for $150 each. They are now on sale for $99 each. I bought them to replace my Takas because the takas pulled on my mare's shoulders, and these blankets are contoured to fit and stay in place.
Likes: I love how they really do stay in place on the horse. And they don't pull on her shoulders either, even without shoulder gussets. The fabric is 1680 denier, and I took a horse and sprayed the blanket while my mare had it on, and the water just rolls off. Dover really got it right with this turnout blanket.
Dislikes: It only comes in two colors. I wanted a purple one :(
Quality: Construction and quality are, IMO, better than the takas I sold when i bought these. I would recommend these blankets far before recommending the weatherbeetas.
Summary: Well, i tried to purchase a Dominick stable blanket to help my horse stay warm under her midweight Dominick, and was quite disappointed when they no longer had the right size in stock. I love these blankets.
