Purchase: I have a percheron X 3 year old and need a wide saddle. The Wintec is promoted as a saddle with versatile gullet sizing, however the people who are selling these things are just 'yes' people to me as the panels ( part on the horses back under your butt) are to narrow for a true wide horse. I am disapointed with thier faulty advertising. If you have a horse that is wide in the front shoulderans wither area and narrow in the spine, THEN this is the saddle for you. I have now moved on and am considering a thouroughgood wide tree dressage saddle. Apparently, they make their synthetic saddles wide fromt he front to the back. More on this coming.....

Dislikes: The gullet sizing did not change the width between the panels, therefore their wide is not a 'wide' saddle.
Quality: I had a wintec when I was a teen, worked out great. At the time I had a horse with a 'perfect' kind of back. Ie: Easy to fit
Summary: I would suggest that anyone who has a wide backed horse, a pmu yearling+ should look into a Duett Largo saddle,and Thornhill Klasse I have found these of decent quality and fair price ( under 1200) Courbette makes good sizes but I have not tried these, ecellent reputaion though..
