Purchase: After much research, I decided on a Jeffries brand saddle because of their reputation, quality and price. I also wanted a comfortable saddle, I had ridden in a Passier and Keiffer and thought them both very hard and unyielding to my seat. I purchased my saddle new from Kelly's Tack Shop off the internet for less than 1200.00 in 2003. Whom I highly recommend, also.
Likes: The saddle is every thing I had hoped it would be. The seat is deep and soft, and puts you in the correct position for flat or jumping with little thought from the rider. I have used it on my thoroughbred and am currently using it on my quarter horse, Beau. Beau has plenty of personality, and displays it with a few moves that the Lippazaners would be envious of. In other words, he likes to buck, before jumps, over jumps and after jumps. I credit the saddle for helping me stay on top.
Dislikes: Absolutely nothing!
Quality: Beautiful stitching, high quality leather and workmanship. But most important, very comfortable.
Summary: Buy one!
