Purchase: I bought this saddle new via the internet while looking for a balanced endurance saddle. I have ridden in treeless saddles before and thought this saddle would be an answer for my hard to fit Half Arab mare. I paid $1350.
Likes: The saddle was secure, comfortable and light weight. It looks like a dressage saddle and allow you to more the stirrups exactly where you want them.
Dislikes: This saddle is difficult to get tight. I purchased the recommended HAF pad and tried several different girths in addition to using a breast collar. In the end, I could never get this saddle to stay in place on steep hills. This saddle works well for arena usage and flat trail riding. However, I found it to be unsafe for more difficult terrain on my horse.
Quality: Saddle is of average construction. I kept the saddle for less than one year and used it for a few conditioning rides and one endurance ride before selling. Thus, I cannot describe the longevity of the saddle.
Summary: This is a nice saddle for flatwork in the arena or trail. I cannot recommend this saddle for serious endurance riders though. Consult a distributor about regular vs. forward rigging before buying one of these saddles.
