Jumping Saddles
Manufacturer: Henri De Rivel
Model: Show Jumping Pro
Category: Jumping Saddles
Purchase: I bought this saddle new from VTO saddlery during their big sale for about $600, though I usually see it advertised at closer to $900 elsewhere.
Likes: I was surprised by the quality of this saddle at such a low price. The leather is very nice and breaks in well. It puts me in a great position for jumping, without interfering. This saddle is ideal for longer legged riders who need an extra forward flap for jumping with shortened stirrups.
Dislikes: Nothing! However, potential buyers should note that this saddle is not balanced well for doing mostly flatwork, as it does put the rider in a very forward position. It is excellent for jumping though!
Quality: This saddle is constructed very well, with good quality materials. It is significantly better quality than other saddles in this price range.
Summary: All in all, this is a very nice quality saddle for a very low price.
