Purchase: I decided to buy these brushes at Your Horse Live! show in 2006, originally i had no intention of buying the brushes (they looked cheap in magazines) but i found a stall where they were displayed. I bought the flick brush, body brush, stiff brush, sweat scraper and hoof pick for £10.
Likes: The brushes looked nice and as they all matched with my oster collection and blue tack box. The brushes are great for removing dust, sweat and dirt and are surprisingly easy to clean. The first time i washed the brushes they dried really quickly and came up sparkling!
Dislikes: I didn't like the sweat scraper as it is hard and doesn't bend to the horse's body unlike other scrapers. The hoof pick isn't as good as other flat topped picks and the flick brush's bristles are slightly too long and it is hard to put any pressure on the horse.
Quality: I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of the brushes, they are well constructed and look great!!
Summary: I would recommend these brushes to anyone who wants a complete grooming set for little money, they are great value and available in many different colours!!
