Purchase: I bought this bit at petsmart for $17. I had heard good things about double jointed bits so I decided it was a good investment.
Likes: I like how the bit doesn't hit the roof of the mouth. The first time I used it I noticed an increased willingness to move forward into the bit. My horse now goes on the bit with out having to ask. She loves it!
Dislikes: I find this bit to be too soft over fences. My horse is naturally strong over fences so this really depends on your horse.
Quality: The bit seems to be well made. The mouthpiece is not too bulky but isn't thin either.
Summary: I really like this bit, and think it would be great for sensitive mouthed horses.
