Purchase: I purchased my first supply from San Luis Obispo County Farm Supply. I paid approximately $20 for 5 lbs. My riding instructor recommended them.
Likes: I purchased a quarter horse a little over 4 years old who had been working in a cattle feed lot. He didn't know what an apple or carrot was nor would he eat them. My riding instructor recommended I try Mrs Pasture horse cookies. Doc immediately went for these when he would not take any other type of treat. To this day, these are his absolute favorite. I used to carry some in my pockets and had to stop as he became so insistent about getting his cookies in my pockets. He could smell them. They are the perfect size to carry with you on a trail ride too. They also don't crumble in your pockets like some of the other horse treats do.
Dislikes: Absolutely nothing
Quality: Hard round cookies, approximately 1 1/2" to 2" in diameter. Oats and molasses.
Summary: The perfect horse treat for the hard to please horse. I recommended them to a friend just the other day who has a horse that has never been given treats and she's trying to find something her horse will eat. Haven't heard back from her yet.
