Purchase: I bought this spray in the bargain basement at Dover Saddlery in New Hampshire for just under $11
Likes: This spray really does make the coat shiny and soft for both before and after grooming.
I have noticed that his coat stays soft and retains the original sheen for a couple of days afterwards, not just the initial grooming session.
PLUS, it has an SPF 8 in it.
Additionally, it smells wonderful!
Dislikes: Nothing, my horse doesn't particularly like being sprayed with anything, but other than that, this is a great grooming tool.
Quality: It comes in a quart size plastic spray bottle, which I am sure can be refilled like other Absorbine and Showsheen products. It contains silk proteins, vitamin E and panthenol.
Summary: Well worth the small $11 price, this will make your prep for schooling shorter, touch-ups at shows quicker, and become a staple in your groom box.
