Purchase: I bought this cooler rug from horserugs4u.com for around £25. I thought it would go nicely with my turnout rug and it would come in handy for after exercise and summer baths.
Likes: I thought the design and colours were great! It sits quite high on the neck so it won't cut into your horses withers and has an easy fastening velcro front. There is one surcingle which is found underneath the rug, which makes a nice change and therefore hangs more loosely on your horse. It has a clip off fillet string which saves the undo-ing time and looks much better. It works well as a cooler rug, all the water moves form the inside to the outside, almost immediately.
Dislikes: I would prefer it if it had more than one surcingle. I have no other complaints about this rug!
Quality: Very high quality. The velcro is great, the clips are strong and the fabric is soft and durable!
Summary: Looking for a cheap cooler rug? Definitely give this rug a go, even if you use it as an under rug. Can't say enough positive things about this rug! Money well spent. I may even buy all the different colour combinations!! :P
