Purchase: I had this blanket special ordered years ago through my tack shop after seeing it on Rambo/Horseware's website. It cost around $175, if I remember correctly.
Likes: With 400 grams of fill, this blanket is the real deal for drafty winter stalls. I used it on a QH before putting it on my TB mare- it fit both very well. This is a stable blanket and is NOT recommended for turnout, but my mare spent a whole winter turned out in it without so much as a small tear in the blanket.
Dislikes: I don't have any complaints, though there is a tail rope I would like replaced with regular leg straps. It doesn't seem to make a difference though, as I have never seen the blanket shift or slide, even after rolling.
Quality: Fantastic quality and construction- I have had turnout/tear resistant blankets torn to pieces on my horses, but this blanket holds up better than any other I have ever owned. I like the velcro/surcingle buckle front- it stays shut, and is easy to use.
Summary: A great blanket and one of the most affordable in the Rambo range- this is a Rambo, not a Rhino or Amigo.
