Purchase: I bought my half chaps at my local Greenhawk Saddlery. I paid about $40 for them.
Likes: I really, really love these half chaps! I had originally bought them after my old pair of chaps had completely worn out and I was looking for a replacement. I figured for $40 I could wear them for awhile, use and abuse them , etc. while looking for my new pair. Well by the time I rode in them a few times I was hooked! They were so comfortable, pliable, gave good grip and of fantastic quality suede for the price I paid!
Dislikes: Nothing! After a year of riding 3-5days a week they are just starting to wear smooth in one little place on the inside of the leg.
Quality: The overall quality was fantastic! They have stood up to riding 3-5 times a week, barn work, snow, mud, rain and all other sorts of abuse. They have kept their shape and color (black), the elastic at the bottoms haven't stretched, the snaps and zippers haven't broken, they have exceeded my expectations ten fold!
Summary: No way could you find a better quality chap for the same price! These chaps are on par with $100++ chaps!
