Purchase: I bought this from my trainer for less than $100 used. It showed very little wear, except where the leathers rubbed. So I thought it was a good price
Likes: I have had it for about 4 years and there is very little wear, this thing has been through a lot and it still looks good. It is also very easy to find matching tack
Dislikes: It looks like it would be squishy, but it really isn't. The leather is far from supple and soft, but it is flexible. I bought it because I wanted to start jumping in between shows and it really didn't offer any stability because it throws you forward. It isn't a bad saddle and it is great for someone who wants a sturdy saddle that's on a budget, but I wouldn't recommend buying it as a jumping saddle. It is great for local shows and I used it at the lower D series flat classes but I wouldn't get it expecting a pessoa.
Quality: It was put together really well. The leather isn't very giving and it doesn't take oil very well. The quality is pretty good, it is not an expensive saddle but it doesn't look cheap.
Summary: It is sturdy and really holds up throughout the years. I was looking at the other saddles in the barn comparing it to mine, and it doesn't really look bad, you can't tell what I paid for it. It is a nice saddle for the money, but you get what you pay for.
