Purchase: I bought this pad off ebay used. I paid $77 with shipping thinking it was sheepskin. When it turned out to be fleece I was so disappointed. I looked it up and it retails for $79 NEW!!
Likes: I don't hate it but I am really disappointed with it. I had really high expectations so maybe that's why.
Dislikes: It said it was from Dover, but the only one they sell is sheepskin. The listing is wrong, so don't trust it. It says it is extremely lightweight and that is a total lie, it isn't horrible but it definitely isn't light. The fleece on the front is bunched like little dreadlocks and it isn't very attractive. I bought this pad thinking it would complete the overall look. I thought it would help my horse because of the description and general design it looks like it would be a nice thing to have. I wasn't going to spend almost $200 for the sheepskin one new so I thought I was getting a good deal. It is supposed to look like sheepskin but it really looks fleece. Also it makes this weird noise whenever it moves like almost a rattle, it's weird and I can't figure out why, but I am hoping it doesn't do that when I am riding.
Quality: It looks like it was made well, and the quality is good, but not something I would pay that much for, in its current condition, I wouldn't pay more than $30
Summary: Waste of money, it's a nice pad but not worth what I paid. If you buy it new it will probably last and looks to be very well made, I wouldn't spend that much on a pad that is fleece and looks fleece when you can get an equigel pad for $30 on ebay. I would buy from this brand again but I would get the sheepskin one.
