Purchase: I bought this item when I first started to take english riding lessons from a local State Line Tack and paid about $69-70 not including the tax.
Likes: I've had this helmet for a bit more than 4 years and it's held up real well. I've taken many rough spills throughout my years of riding and even though my Legacy Gold has tons of scratches on it, it's still in top shape. I also love the fact that it's very comfy and quite breathable in any weather condition. This helmet is just plain awesome for schooling/trails etc.
Dislikes: There isn't much I do not like, this helmet is very good and I have absolutely no dislikes.
Quality: The safety of this helmet is superb. Even if some pony takes off bolting and bucking and throws you off, the helmet provides much cushioning for the rider. Nothing on my particular helmet has fallen apart or broken.
Summary: Definitely I'd say if you're either a English or Western person and are looking for a good quality helmet, I'd recommend the Troxel Legacy Gold. The price is just right for such a protective safety helmet and hey it doesn't even make your head seem big or whatnot!
