Purchase: I bought these clippers from State Line Tack. I paid $42.00 for these
Likes: I liked that they were cordless, held a battery charge longer than expected. They did a good job on the face, ears and fetlocks if the job was not too thick. They did not heat up to cause discomfort. They were also very quiet.
Dislikes: I went through 2 pair of these clippers. The reason being the battery just completely died even after being charged when it needed charging and carefully stored when not in use. There are no replacement batteries for these clippers. Both sets died after the warranty was up. Each once lasted a little over a year w/ no hard use. With no replacement parts, I threw them in the trash. I would not buy these again. I would try other cordless before I wasted my money again.
Quality: Well built casing and easy to hold.
Summary: There are better cordless clippers that will trim really thick bridle paths and fetlocks. Even if Wahl upgraded these, I would not buy again.
