Purchase: I bought this saddle from the Crestridge Saddlery website after researching gaited horse saddles online. I paid $425.00 for my saddle after a $100.00 rebate for a Valentines Day special. The salesperson named Debbie was wonderful, she was so helpful with the measurements of my wither tracing and great to work with. From the day I ordered my saddle, I received my new saddle 3 days later. The shipping is fantastic. My saddle was well taken care of.
Likes: I love the fact that the saddle is only 23 inches from front to back in a 16 in. seat and only weighs 18lbs. I have a short backed Missouri Foxtrotter and it fits her perfectly. She is gaiting like a dream in it. From day one we both have had a great ride. I ride 5 days a week both in the arena and trail riding. It's really reasonably priced for such a great saddle.
Dislikes: There really isn't anything I don't like. I think I'm going to buy a second off billet to make it a 3 point rigging just to be extra secure on the trails. You can also buy all the extras to go with it, bridle, breastcollar, girths and saddle pads. Try it you won't be disappointed!
Quality: It has supracor in the seat and is very comfortable on the trails. It also comes with wider stirrups also great for the trails. It has plenty of straps to tie things to and lots of rings to attach saddle bags. The leather is very soft and it comes in 4 different colors.
Summary: I think it's a great saddle for the price and the website has a lot of great information as far as fitting your saddle on your horse. They take a lot of time to speak to you over the phone to make sure your saddle fits, they really want you to be happy with it. I am!!
